A What We Heard Report is now available from the document library on the right. This milestone update outlines the engagement process undertaken, feedback received and next steps in the development of the Local Area Traffic Management Scheme for Blakeview.
Thank you to everyone who shared their views!
A What We Heard Report is being put together with all your wonderful feedback ready to be reviewed.
This report will be available early in 2023.
As part of Council’s ongoing committment to safety and accessibility and with funds from the State Government, the City of Playford is delivering on the State Government’s promise to undertake a Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) study, which was made by the Member for Elizabeth, Lee Odenwalder MP in the lead up to the state election.
We’re aware our community have shared concerns about pedestrian and road safety in Blakeview and we want to make sure we do what we can to make it easy and safe to get around. The study will investigate local traffic issues such as speeding, parking, traffic and road safety and pedestrian safety around schools and shopping centres.
To kick off the study, Council will be reaching out to residents and property owners via a survey to unpack and understand traffic related issues people are experiencing on their street and in the study area (refer to map).
Your feedback will help us to develop the LATM plan in 2022/2023. This plan will be prioritised and delivered in the upcoming years within the allocated funding.
The survey only takes 2-5 minutes to complete and will be open between 4 November – 1 December 2022.
We look forward to hearing from our Blakeview community.
