We wanted to learn about the experiences, thoughts, and goals of young people aged 12–25 - and we got it!

What we asked
The survey helps us understand what it’s like to be young in Playford – the opportunities, challenges, and your ideas for the future. Your feedback will help guide how Council support young people in our community.

The Youth Survey 2025 was open from 22 September - 20 October 2025.

Who could take part
The survey was open to anyone aged 12–25 who lives, works, studies, or hangs out in Playford. (Not sure if you're in Playford? - view a list of suburbs here!)

How you had your say
There were lots of ways to take part, and young people could tell us as much or as little as they liked.

	__	They shared their 1 big idea 💡 We asked young people "How could your area be better for young people?"
		They completed the survey! 📝 After you've told us your big idea - young people could share more of their thoughts in the full survey.
		And we had an Easy-Read version 📖 Our Easy-Read survey had a few less questions, uses simple language and helpful pictures.

OR they could write down your thoughts, draw a picture of their ideas, record a video – and send it to us via email instead.
