Playford Local Area Traffic Management Study (LATM)

We're taking a closer look at traffic and road safety in Playford as part of a Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) study.

Eight suburbs are currently being studied as part of this program:

Andrews Farm, Craigmore, Davoren Park, Elizabeth Vale, Eyre, Hillbank, One Tree Hill and Smithfield.

These suburbs were selected based on feedback from community surveys and customer requests, highlighting traffic and road safety as key concerns.

Whether you walk, drive, cycle, use public transport, push a pram, or use a mobility aid—your feedback is important and will help us:

  • Understand how people travel locally
  • Identify the issues that matter most to residents
  • Plan practical improvements for safer, more connected streets
  • Balance the needs of all road and footpath users
  • Prioritise changes within available funding and resources

Community feedback will be shared with traffic experts and considered alongside traffic and transport data to help develop an LATM plan for each suburb being studied. The plan will then be used to inform future traffic improvement plans and projects – such as managing traffic, slowing speeds, or adding more pedestrian crossings – making it easier and safer for everyone to move around.

How to Have Your Say

From 21 October through to mid November, residents in the selected suburbs will receive a hard copy survey by mail. But you don’t need to wait - complete the survey on this page. The survey takes about 5–10 minutes to complete.
