Project Overview

We are excited to let everyone know that the upgrade of Mandeville Reserve will start very soon!

Works are expected to be completed February/March 2022 and will deliver a much improved park for the community to enjoy.

A huge thank you to community members who provided input into the concept design earlier in the year. A summary of feedback received during the consultation period and response to issues raised is available from the Document Library to the right.

Mandeville Reserve is a local reserve that also functions as a pedestrian link between Heytesbury Road and Peachey Road.  It has a playspace and many mature trees which provide shade and habitat.  However, it has no other facilities.

The upgrade of the reserve will include the following features:

  • Improved playspace which includes keeping some existing equipment and adding new features
  • Nature play
  • Basketball key
  • Paved pedestrian pathway through the reserve with public lighting
  • Irrigated grass
  • Shelter, picnic table, seating, bin
