A big thank you to everyone who took the time to share their feedback and contribute to the Live, Play, Grow project.
We're pleased to let you know that the What We Heard Report is now available. The report provides a summary of what we heard from children, parents, caregivers and service providers, and highlights the key themes and insights that will help shape how Council plans for parks, programs and community spaces so young children in Playford can learn, play and grow close to home.
Thank you for sharing your experiences, ideas and aspirations for young children in Playford. Your feedback has provided valuable insights and will help inform the next stage of this project as Council works towards creating a more child-friendly community.
Children’s voices are at the heart of this project. We want to know what they enjoy, how they learn, and what they dream of in their local community.
We’re visiting local schools and early childhood centres to run fun, hands on activities supported by Council’s Early Childhood Specialist, so their ideas help shape the future of Playford.
Caregivers, grandparents, and early childhood professionals also have important perspectives that help us understand and support children’s experiences.
Your feedback, along with children’s ideas, will help shape parks, programs, and community spaces so young children in Playford can learn, grow, and thrive close to home.
