Provide your feedback on the draft Community Engagement policy
Council’s Public Consultation Policy was last reviewed in November 2013.
Since this time, Local Government including the City of Playford has matured and learnt from its consultation practice to understand that engaging communities is broader than just public consultation.
The review of this policy as part of the ICAC Recommendations and Implementation program, has considered and reflected this to include a name change to Community Engagement Policy and standards on what good community engagement looks like for the City of Playford.
The Draft Community Engagement Policy and Procedure will help to strengthen and support Council in delivering contemporary and leading practice in community engagement and supporting meaningful engagement and connection with the community.
The draft policy, currently out for consultation, we think reflects how we can work together and engage with our residents and ratepayers to connect and build upon our community and city foundations.
We encourage you to take a look at the draft policy and provide your feedback via our online, downloadable or hardcopy survey by 5pm on Thursday 29 April, 2021.
